In Long Island City, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across New York on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

Hours are published for 2 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 AM–10 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (516) 585-5060. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, jaxpizzajoint.com.

Long Island City is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Long Island City follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

What an amazing experience! Got their FBR and Sausage and Peppers. Both were terrific but FBR deserves a special shoutout! The sweet fig jam and bacon are truly match made in heaven! Cannot wait to try their other slices!

Loved it! The service was great, and there’s nothing better than a NYC slice. My favorite was the fig jam!!! Along with the pepperoni and baby luka. That chicken parm too was fire. We took our pizza and ate at the piers, perfect end to our day.

If you’re in Queens and love a good thin crust pizza, you NEED to try Jax Pizza Joint in LIC πŸ•πŸ”₯ Everything was seriously so good. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, and the specialty pies are absolute heavy hitters. The FBR (fig, bacon jam & ricotta) was unreal, the Baby Luca with prosciutto & burrata was chef’s kiss, and you truly can’t go wrong with a classic pepperoni. They’ve also got amazing heroes β€” the Uncle Jeff’s Philly and the Jax Parm were both SO good. Honestly so happy to have a spot like this in Queens. Definitely give them a try!

Absolutely loved this place! The pizza was incredibly deliciousβ€”perfectly thin crust with just the right amount of crisp. What really stood out was the sauce… super unique and packed with flavor, unlike anything I’ve had before. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the ingredients and balance. I tried their Margherita, Jax special and FBR slices. My husband also enjoyed their Jax Parm hero, and that too was gluten free! If you’re into thin-slice pizza with a twist, this spot is definitely worth checking out. I’ll 100% be back! πŸ•βœ¨
